It hasn’t always been this way though, and it’s taken a great deal of hard work and dedication to get to where we are today. Our Roots and Values
R & R Furniture and Mattress started as a small furniture store in Texas founded on a set of principles and core values that are still with us to this day. We noticed that rest and relaxation weren’t standard in the furniture industry — they were luxuries that were unaffordable to a large segment of the population. Moreover, we noticed that many furniture companies weren’t building relationships with their customers. They sold them furniture, but they weren’t actively pursuing relationships that would bring those customers back the next time that they needed new furniture.
R & R was founded with a vision to change how business was done. We made rest and relaxation standard by filling our catalog with affordable furniture made by reputable brands known for their quality. We got to know everyone who came through our doors before making any recommendations and never used pushy sales tactics to pressure them into purchasing. The result? A set of core values unique to R & R, a growing customer base, and nothing but top-of-the-line products in our catalog.
Where We Are Today
Today, R & R Furniture and Mattress operates in several locations across California. We’ve relocated from where we started, but our core values and mission have remained the same. We’ve continued to build relationships with our customers and some of the biggest furniture brands in the industry, including La-Z-Boy. In fact, we have the biggest La-Z-Boy gallery on the Central Coast! The relationships we’ve built and focused on from day one have allowed us to continue delivering on our promise to provide affordable rest and relaxation.
Where We’re Going
We truly believe that there’s nowhere to go but up. We have plans to continue building showrooms in areas without affordable furniture options, and we’re always looking for opportunities to make our online catalog even more robust and provide an experience similar to the same one you’d get in our showrooms.
We’re looking for ways to expand what we offer to our customers, too. From the latest dining furniture to home decor, lighting, and other items you won’t find at other local furniture stores, you’ll always find new items in the R & R catalog.
